The sailing timer allows you to easily set the correct sequence and synchronize the timer with the race committee with the push of a button. Large numerals and audible warning signals let you concentrate more on maneuvering your boat in the swarming of the start while Suunto Yachtsman keeps you informed on up-coming critical moments.

The race timer range of the stopwatch is 120 hours. You can store fifty split times in the memory for later analysis. The sailing timer has been developed together with some of the top sailors in the world, with experience from the Whitbread Around the World ocean race to the dinghy and keel boat World Championships.

The electronic compass displays the bearing and the cardinal or half-cardinal point and a North-South arrow, and features a bearing tracking function that displays the locked bearing, the actual bearing and the difference between the two.
